Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my project cost?

A Flat Rate: This option is a flat rate based on the job and how long it generally takes me to design. This flat rate is based on certain designs and can be subjected to be switched to an hourly rate at my discretion. Of course, I've never had to do this. If I see that a design is taking me longer than normal and I've quoted you a flat rate, I honor that...I just need to say the above sentence to protect myself.

An Hourly Rate: This option is for those longer projects that are time consuming. This hourly rate is usually for programs, newsletters, pages, and other larger projects.

Who owns the finished design?

My fees include licensing fees for all designs that are created for my clients. To open an invoice, an email quote will be sent and a reply from the client must be received saying you agree to the terms listed. After the job is complete and you are satisfied, licensing for all assets will be included in your invoice, and all documentation will be transferred to you after the final invoice is closed. To close the invoice another email including the final invoice will be sent, final payment, and a reply from you must be delivered saying you agree to close out the invoice. Closing an invoice releases all artwork to you in the top 3 file formats generally needed.  I do however, retain the right to post the designs on my portfolio if I choose to and at my discretion. Any objections to this will be discussed in the quote process.

Can you do it right now?

It is sometimes possible for me to do rush orders. A rush fee ranging from $25-$50 will be automatically applied to your quote if this is the case. Send me a message as soon as possible, let me know your deadline, and I will let you know if I have space in my schedule for a rush order. I will do my best to honor your timeline, but will be clear and upfront with you.
